火狐体育第六届年度红鹰公开赛于9月17日星期一在布卢姆菲尔德的森林山球场俱乐部举行。 超过130名高尔夫球手在球场上度过了美好的一天，为火狐体育的运动队和项目筹集了近11万美元。

At the dinner, Vice President for 大学 Advancement John T. Shannon offered greetings from the 大学 and Director of Intercollegiate 体育运动 Holly Gera ’79 gave an update on the athletics program. Representing all 火狐体育火狐体育州立 student athletes, 乔治Alexandris spoke about his experiences and thanked donors for the support. 今年5月，亚历山大在全国大学生体育协会第三室外田径锦标赛上获得了全国跳远冠军。

“火狐体育 athletic staff and student athletes appreciate the generosity of the outing participants and the consistent support from donors and friends, says Gera. “Proceeds from this event and other donations enable us to enhance the athletic experience for all of our student athletes.”
