President Koppell speaking with an alumni

8月5日星期四,一群火狐体育志愿者会见了火狐体育的新校长乔纳森·科佩尔,分享了科佩尔上任头几周的活力和乐观。 Held on campus in the Feliciano School of Business, the gathering enabled alumni and guests to welcome Koppell, who began his tenure as the University’s ninth president on August 2.

“I could not be more excited about joining Montclair State University,” Koppell has shared. “At a pivotal moment in higher education, this university – with its deep commitment to serving the public interest and advancing student success – has an opportunity to define the future.”

Alexandra Hoffman ’17, who attended with her husband Christopher Unis ’17, shared: “It was such a joy meeting President Koppell. I appreciate that he extended this opportunity to Montclair State alumni.”

For Harold Abraham ’11, ’15MA, it was a wonderful opportunity to personally meet President Koppell and connect with fellow alumni. “Through my conversation with Dr. Koppell it became abundantly clear that his energy, hands-on approach, and ideas for innovation at Montclair State University are a perfect fit. As an educational leader myself, it’s inspiring to see Dr. Koppell’s willingness and enthusiasm to collaborate with university stakeholders such as faculty, alumni, and community members.”

“I’m excited for all that’s in store with President Koppell,” says Al-Nesha Jones ’07, ’13 MBA, who remains active as a mentor through the Feliciano School of Business.
