Jason Williams Recognized by Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders

Jason M. Williams, assistant professor in the Department of Justice Studies, was honored by the Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders on February 28, 2018 for his work in education and scholarship and his impact on the community. 他们在帕塞伊克县行政大楼举行的黑人历史月活动上向他表示敬意。
Williams is an activist scholar and his research focuses on critical policing, race, social control, and criminal justice policy. He is currently conducting on-the-ground critical ethnographic research in Ferguson, Missouri and Baltimore, Maryland following the deaths of Michael Brown and Freddie Gray.
