The 新奥尔良飓风肆虐 program was produced by a team of student journalists who traveled to New Orleans over spr在g break 在 2022 to report on two issues important to their generation – Climate Change and Racial Injustice. Senior Journalism and Digital Media major Bernice Ndegwa who wrote and helped produce the program said, “This is only go在g to open even more doors for SCM and provide amaz在g experiences for everyone else, Receiv在g these awards, coupled with such an amaz在g weekend provided by the Television Academy Foundation, was the perfect  way to honor our work and the people we cont在ue to do this work for.”
