Adobe previously announced the end of life for their Flash product to take effect on December 31, 2020 due to the advancements made in other web technologies. 从2021年1月12日开始，Adobe将阻止Flash内容在Flash Player中运行。 Adobe强烈建议所有用户立即卸载Flash Player以帮助保护他们的系统。 What does this mean to you?
University-managed workstations – If you use a University-managed workstation, the University will uninstall Flash for you through our automatic software updates on or after Monday, January 4th, 2021. Flash will not be permitted to be reinstalled due to the potential of security vulnerabilities.
Specialty Software not directly supported by the Division of Information Technology or your local Technology Team – Please take this time to ensure that all specialty and/or research software that is being utilized has been fully updated to eliminate the use of Flash technology.
