Student Recreation Center Gets an Energy Saving Upgrade

Recreation Center Basketball Courts with newly replaced light fixtures

8月29日，学生娱乐中心进行了升级，更换了36盏灯具。 The original fixtures installed over the indoor track & basketball courts were 350W fixtures which each used eight metal-halide bulbs*. 替换的是150W和60W LED灯具的组合。

The project was managed by the office of Capital Planning & Project Management with the contractor Big Shine.

As a result of this project, the University will see energy savings of 36,266 kWh per year.
